Flooring Equipment
These toools help the job get done

Basic Tools

The basic tools I use for flooring is the obvious hammer. This is the one tool that I will need to do any kind of job. Its great for hammering down nails in the wall, great for hammering the floor together, and just great for anything you need to hammer. Another basic tool I use is the crowbar. This is great for pushing things together that need to pop in place. It could also be great for taking out nails in the floor. But my favorite use for it is to take the baseboards off the wall with it. Its very cool and fun. The last basic tool I will talk about is the tape messure! The tape messure is probably the most important because it helps us find the meaurments! You would get the worse floor done if you dont have this which is why its great for making sure everything is aligned properly.

Table Saw

The table saw is a great tool! Its one of my favorite tools and I love to cut the floor with it. It has a very sharp blade that spins at a high rpm and will cut things very nicely. Its a dangerous tool to use so I would take precaution on it and watch out for your fingers. I use this tool just about everyday and its great for getting the best of cuts. Its a simple saw but its a saw that will get straight cuts and things exacltly how you need them.

Chop Saw

Now the chop saw on the other hand, is a very powerful saw. This saw you could put up and down when cutting things. Its mainly used for baseboard but you could use it for things like transitions or quarter round. Just about anything that is wood it will cut. Its very loud but it cuts so straight down the middle! You could also align it just how you like to get different types of angles. Most of these tools are very expensive equipment so it must be taken care of and used properly or else things will go wrong. I would rate the chop saw a good 8/10. It does exactly what It needs to do but something it could get annoying because of the sound and all the angles.
